Waco Composites, Ltd. was officially established in April of 1996 with the sole purpose of focusing on one product line or niche within the security industry. We believe that by focusing on fiberglass bullet resistant panels, we have become the best and most efficient manufacturer in this industry. Experience and Quality Control
With more than twenty years of experience in ballistic panel design and fiberglass product development, Waco Composites, Ltd. now leads the industry. Prior to establishing Waco Composites, Ltd., our CEO had designed and developed ballistic resistant panels for private corporations, government agencies, and prototyped ballistic spall-liners for the US Army. Our emphasis has always been in research and development and a rigorous quality assurance program with continuous testing of our products to ensure the highest degree of product integrity.
Product
The ArmorCore® product line has become the preferred bullet resistant fiberglass panel. ArmorCore® is not a starch-oil fiberglass based product, which is organic and tends to break down in time. Over the years we have continued to improve our product line, while never sacrificing the integrity of the product. ArmorCore® is made with the highest quality materials, while maintaining low cost to our customers.
Capabilities and Turn Around Time
With our new hydraulic presses, waterjet cutters, industrial sanders, testing facilities, and eagerness to meet our customers' needs, Waco Composites, Ltd. offers one of the most customizable panels offered in the industry. Waco Composites, Ltd. manufactures panel sizes that range from 3‘x8‘ all the way to 5‘x10‘. ArmorCore® panels can be factory cut to size with great detail (+/- .004" tolerance) cut to size. Over the years we have sanded, painted, coated, bonded, and tested ArmorCore® to meet our customers' needs. The majority of the time panels are in stock (particularly 4‘x8‘ sheets). Waco Composites, Ltd. has built a reputation for speedy turn around time and shipping out most orders within twenty-four hours.
