The BulletSponge is a Portable Armor System of 9"x9" (small) and 18"x18" (large) pieces that may be strapped together to create various Configurations where protection is needed.

In a short period of time the BulletSponge has undergone extensive testing, experimentation, and development.

Testing in the range facilities has included shots from .50 Caliber FSPs (Fragment Simulated Projectiles) which replicate the shrapnel from an IED (Improvised Explosive Device)

After shooting, blasting, and blowing up the BulletSponge, here is what the product is capable of doing...

Will Defeat:
- 7.62x39mm Steel Core (AK-47/SKS) Multiple Shots at Velocities up to 2600fps

- 5.56mm Steel Core (SS109 round from M-16) Multiple Shots at Velocities up to 3400fps

- .50cal FSP (Fragment Simulated Projectile) up to 3 Shots per Sq.Ft. at Velocities over 3500fps

- Blast pressures of at least 110 psi-msec.
