Those You Love Need the Most Protection
ArmorCore® bullet resistant fiberglass and bulletproof panels are used to protect various locations, including money rooms, courtrooms, cashier areas, even jury boxes. With crime in America increasing at an alarming rate and the incidences of violence occurring closer to home, ArmorCore® can also be used to protect those most precious and dear to you-- your family.
Not only does ArmorCore® provide bullet, blast, and intruder protection in the home, but also is used in storm protection. ArmorCore® installed in a home allows individuals and families to find sanctuary in a room during severe weather. A variety of tests have been performed against the ArmorCore® panels replicating potential threats as a result of high winds from tornados, hurricanes, and tropical storms. These include wind pressure tests, projectile tests (shooting a 2x4 from a cannon at the ArmorCore® panels), and even dropping a car on top of a safe room built with ArmorCore®!
Being Prepared For Those You Love
"Panic rooms, more commonly known as safe rooms, are spaces inside a home or business where people seek refuge in times of perceived or imminent danger. Designers and builders of safe rooms are reporting increasing inquiries since September 11 and according to the U.S. Department of Justice, every year there are close to half a million violent crimes involving handguns that happen in or near the home. The number of residential break-ins and forced intrusions is even higher."

Intrusion Deterrance
Step 1: Choose Your Safe Room
A common choice for a safe room is the master closet. For an average family of four the closet dimensions should be at least 6-feet by 8-feet. After framing the closet with steel or wood studs @ 16-inch on-center, the next step will be to install a heavy-gauge steel mesh system known as Secura Room® on the walls and ceilings of the safe room. This system is specifically designed to delay or defeat attempts at forced entry to intrusion using axes, sledge hammer, chainsaws, or wrecking bars.
